WordPress WPress Backup Browser

Upload an All-in-One WP Migration .wpress backup, extract its contents automatically and browse the files. Inspect themes, plugins, SQL dumps and media without installing or restoring WordPress.

Processing runs on our servers. Anyone with a result URL can access the original and extracted files until cleanup or deletion. A backup password unlocks extraction; it does not protect the result URL. Only upload data you are comfortable sharing under this model.

Encrypted backups ask for the backup password before extraction. Once extracted, all available files can be browsed and downloaded.

Formats and limits

Supports validated WPress v1/v2 containers, plain or chunked zlib/bzip2, with optional AES-256-CBC encryption. The plugin's “gzip” setting uses zlib framing. Passwords may contain Unicode. Other WordPress backup families and unknown codecs are unsupported. Corrupt encrypted data cannot always be distinguished from a wrong password.

Uploads are limited to 1 GiB by the server. Extraction normally allows five minutes, 100,000 files and directories, 1 GiB across intermediate and decoded bytes, and 256 MiB per file. If a backup reaches a limit or contains damaged files, recovered files remain available and the result shows an incomplete-extraction warning.

PHP, SQL, HTML and scripts stay inert. No site restoration, database import, remote fetching or password cracking occurs. The original stays downloadable alongside extracted files. The standard result ZIP includes the original, extracted files and extraction notes.
