GMA Extractor Online — Garry's Mod Addons
Browse an addon's Lua scripts and game resources without installing it.
Open a Garry's Mod addon
Upload a .gma to inspect its title, author, description, required content and original resource hierarchy. Processing runs on our servers. No addon scripts are run, the game is not launched and Steam Workshop content is never downloaded.
Download the small example addon and upload it above. Its Lua source, material, image and sound are generated fixtures under this project's license.

Ordinary Lua source is preserved exactly. Read scripts and materials in the text viewer, preview supported images and audio, and inspect supported Source models with their uploaded sidecars. Download individual files or the complete result ZIP. Recognized supported Lua bytecode uses existing recovery tools under recovered/<member-path>/source.lua; it is never executed.
Supported GMA variants and limits
Supports uncompressed GMAD versions 1, 2 and 3, including gmad's zero-checksum -nocrc variant. Supplied member and archive CRC32 checksums are checked; omitted checksums are reported. GMA is not ZIP or VPK. Compressed Workshop wrappers and future versions are unsupported.
Metadata strings are limited to 1 MiB, metadata to 4 MiB, and indexes to 16 MiB. Shared defaults are five minutes per job, 1 GiB expanded data, 256 MiB per member, 25,000 entries, four nested layers and 1,000 code recoveries, with 30 seconds per recovery. Parent and worker limits may stop work sooner.
Corruption, unsafe paths, collisions, missing bytecode tools and partial results are explained in DECOMPILATION-NOTES.txt. Complete extracted siblings remain available. Checksums do not establish addon safety or publisher identity.
