Play a dotLottie container

Upload a supported .lottie file to open its Animation view. Play or pause the animation, scrub its timeline, change playback speed, toggle looping and choose a background. Containers with multiple animations provide an animation selector. Raw and Download remain available for the original file.

Is plain Lottie JSON supported?

This page supports validated dotLottie ZIP containers with a manifest and referenced animation files, including tested v1 and v2 containers. An arbitrary .json animation is not a supported standalone input here. Renaming JSON to .lottie does not create a container.

What can prevent playback?

Malformed, encrypted, ZIP64 or over-limit containers are rejected. Required animation files and permitted embedded resources must be present; forbidden external resources are not fetched. Player support can also vary by animation feature. An unavailable preview keeps the raw file and original download.

The container stays intact through upload, so you can play its packaged animations and download the unchanged .lottie file. This viewer does not export video or create animations.
