Open an Electron app.asar
An ASAR packages the files shipped with an Electron application. Upload your app.asar, open files/ in the result, then select a script, document or asset to inspect it. Download individual members or the result ZIP; the uploaded archive is retained in original/.
What extraction can recover
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, images, fonts and other packaged resources keep their directory structure. Supplied source maps remain available. Extraction does not reverse minification, reconstruct missing original sources or decompile native modules. Nothing from the application is run.
Where are app.asar.unpacked files?
Some archives refer to files stored beside them in app.asar.unpacked. Those bytes are absent from the ASAR and cannot be recovered from it alone. Extraction is complete when all files stored in the ASAR are recovered; external references are listed separately in extraction.json as information. Damaged content or processing limits can leave partial results with notes and the original download. If you have the original installer, use the NSIS, DMG or AppImage extractor to inspect its supplied files.
For a recovered font, use its Preview tab or upload it to the font viewer. For a packaged animation, use the dotLottie viewer.
