Android ADB Backup Extractor
Inspect the app data actually included in an adb backup file.
Processing runs on our servers. Anyone with a result URL can access the original and extracted files until they are removed by cleanup or you delete the result. A backup password unlocks extraction; it does not protect the result URL. Only upload data you are comfortable sharing under this model.
If your backup is encrypted, you’ll be asked for its password after upload.
Browse app preferences, databases and APKs
Results group apps by package, with metadata, XML preferences, app files, database downloads and APKs when present. Select an included APK to use the APK decompiler. Database files remain downloadable without a database viewer. Shared-storage files and unknown storage domains are retained.

Supported formats and limits
Supports Android backup header versions 1–5, plaintext or AES-256 with a supplied password, with zlib compression or no compression. Passwords may contain Unicode. Version 1 supports legacy password encoding; versions 2–5 use UTF-8. Missing or wrong passwords, damaged payloads and unsupported headers receive explicit notes. A damaged encrypted key header cannot always be distinguished from a wrong password.
The actual ANDROID BACKUP header is required, including for renamed .bak files. Other vendors' backups and cloud backups are unsupported. Missing apps, APKs or databases are normal and depend on what the device and app allowed in the backup.
Extraction shares the worker's archive limits: normally five minutes, 1 GiB across decoded TAR and extracted bytes, 256 MiB per file and 25,000 entries including directories. Indexes are bounded too. Limits can leave partial results with completed files and the original available.
No device is contacted. Restore commands, apps and scripts are never executed. This does not recover missing data, crack passwords or restore a device.
